The service
How many servings does a cart make?
It depends on the cart. Popcorn, about 60 boxes of 45 g an hour; candy floss, up to 60 servings an hour; hot dogs, waffles or nachos, about 50 an hour. Each cart page has its figure.
What if I have a lot of guests?
We add carts of the same type or suggest the XXL Cart, with a bigger machine. That keeps queues short.
Do the carts come with an operator?
Most do: the operator prepares and serves for the hours booked. A few, such as the slush cart, do not need one. Your quote says which.
Are consumables included?
Yes, ingredients and packaging for the service booked are included. With popcorn and candy floss, consumption is unlimited during the service.
Do you have allergen information?
Yes. Each cart has its own ingredients and allergens sheet. Popcorn and candy floss are gluten-free.
Branding
Can the carts carry our brand?
Yes, all of them. Depending on the model, with full-colour PVC panels, wraps or the canopy, plus printed packaging: boxes, cones, tubs or cups.
How much notice does branding need?
Popcorn cart panels need one working week of printing. Printed packaging takes longer: order with several weeks to spare and we will confirm the lead time.
Is there a minimum order for branded boxes?
Printed packaging is made in runs, from around 1,000 units. Ask us if you need fewer.
Can the popcorn or candy floss match my brand colour?
Yes, in pink, blue, red and other colours. Gold is not possible and each cart makes one colour.
Logistics
What does the cart need at the venue?
A 230 V socket nearby, the cart's footprint plus one metre in front for the queue, and step-free access or a lift.
Can they go outdoors?
Yes, under cover or with rain protection. If a cart stays outdoors for several days, it needs supervision.
Do you work outside Barcelona?
Yes. We are based in Barcelona and work all over Spain: Madrid, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Girona, Tarragona, Lleida and wherever you need.
Do you coordinate with the venue or stand builder?
Yes. At trade fairs and conference centres we work around the venue's build-up times and your stand builder.
How long does set-up take?
Most carts, under an hour. The slush cart also needs a few hours to chill.
Cost and booking
How much does it cost to hire a food cart?
It depends on the cart, hours, guests, branding and location. We send you a fixed, no-obligation quote.
How far ahead should I book?
If we have availability, you can book at very short notice. We recommend a month, especially with branding.
How is the booking confirmed?
With a 50% payment by invoice. The booking guarantees the cart exclusively for that date.
What if it rains or the event is cancelled?
If the event was outdoors and it rains, or if the whole event is cancelled, we refund the booking.
