Popcorn cart and machine hire

The cart has two parts: the machine that pops the corn and the fairground-style cart that holds it, with a vintage look that photographs beautifully. It arrives almost fully assembled, so it is up and running in under an hour.

• Delivery, set-up and collection. Included in Barcelona and the surrounding area; elsewhere they are added to your quote.
• Unlimited consumables for the hours booked: corn, sunflower oil, special salt or sugar, and boxes.
• Three measuring scoops (corn, oil and salt) so every batch comes out the same.
• With or without an operator. It is very easy to use and we show you how on delivery. If you would rather our team ran it, we add that.

Our popcorn machine is a professional unit in stainless steel and toughened glass. Plug it into a standard socket, add the measures of corn, oil and salt, and within minutes the popping starts. When it stops, the popcorn is ready and tipped into the tray, where the cabinet light keeps it warm.

Each 200 g batch of corn makes about six 45 g boxes. Preparing, popping and serving takes around six minutes, so service keeps moving without long queues. Popcorn can be salted or sweet, and sweet popcorn can be coloured: red, blue, pink and more, but not gold. Each cart makes one colour; for two colours you need two carts.

Allow about 60 boxes of 45 g per hour per cart:

• 1 hour: about 60 boxes.
• 2 hours: about 120 boxes.
• 3 hours: about 180 boxes.

The popcorn cart is one of the easiest to brand, and it is where branding shows most:

• Lower cart panel (38 x 51 cm) in full-colour 3 mm Forex PVC.
• Glass header strips on the machine: 43 x 7.5 cm on the front and 29 x 7.5 cm on each side.
• Cart colour: red and white, black or white; other colours and full wraps on request.
• Boxes or cones with your logo: your brand travels around the event in every guest's hand.

• Conferences: a different kind of break between sessions.
• Corporate events: family days, anniversaries, product launches and parties.
• Weddings: a nostalgic corner for the drinks reception or the evening party.

• Power: a standard 230 V socket. The machine is rated at 1,600 W, drawing about 1,370 W at full output and 300 W on warming. If you use a generator, allow for that load.
• Space: the cart measures 157 x 50 x 94 cm (H x W x D). With the server and the queue, allow about 160 x 100 x 150 cm.
• Access: it is on wheels and weighs about 43-45 kg. To move it during the event, unplug it and reconnect it in the new spot.
• Outdoors: fine, as long as it is protected from rain and supervised if it stays up for several days.

We recommend booking a month ahead, mainly because the professional salt and sugar take a few days to arrive.
